Before you go and place your order, this comes with a big fat word of warning... you may experience a huge increase in your enjoyment of your photography!!

A Familiar Frustration
Many photographers struggle with one fundamental issue that keeps them stuck. And it isn't solved by buying more expensive gear! Before I tell you what it is (and there's a simple fix), does this sound familiar?
You’re out in nature. You see a beautiful moment. You take the photograph. But when you look at the image later, something doesn’t quite feel right.
Perhaps the frame feels busy. Perhaps the subject isn’t as clear as you hoped. Perhaps the image doesn’t capture the feeling of the moment.
Most of the time, this isn’t about camera settings.
It’s about composition — learning to see the scene more clearly before pressing the shutter.
That’s what this course is designed to help with.
What This Course Is About
Seeing Differently is a relaxed six-week learning experience designed for photographers who want to improve their composition in a thoughtful and practical way.
Each week explores a simple idea that can transform how you approach a photograph.
You’ll learn how to:
• simplify a scene
• guide the viewer’s eye
• create balance in your images
• add depth and dimension
• compose photographs with greater intention
The aim isn’t perfection.
It’s learning to see more clearly and enjoy photography more deeply.
How the Course Works
The course runs over six weeks.
Each week you’ll receive:
🎥 A short video lesson (20–30 minutes)
📷 A gentle photography exercise to try during the week
💬 Access to a private online group for discussion and sharing
There will also be three optional live sessions where we’ll look at photographs together and talk through what works and why.
All sessions will be recorded so you can watch later if the time zone doesn’t suit you.
You can move through the material at your own pace.

What We'll Explore Each Week
Week 1 – Learning to See Again
Slowing down and noticing what’s really happening in the frame.
Week 2 – Simplicity & Visual Clarity
How removing distractions strengthens your subject.
Week 3 – Guiding the Viewer’s Eye
Using contrast, light and lines to direct attention.
Week 4 – Balance & Visual Weight
Why some images feel stable, and others feel unsettled.
Week 5 – Depth & Layers
Creating dimension using foreground, middle ground and background.
