Finally move past "Auto" Mode and capture the professional-grade images you bought your camera for - even if you've never touched a manual setting.

Imagine waking up on your next vacation, seeing a stunning sunrise, and knowing exactly what to do to capture it perfectly - without even looking down at your camera...

Well, that's where I intend you to be at the completion of this photography course.

Let me tell you about Discovering DSLR and Mirrorless Photography

Which of these most closely resembles your photographs?

Can I help you?

Are you consistently disappointed with your photographs?

Do you find your Mirrorless or DSLR camera too complicated?

Do you spend most of your time shooting in “Auto”?

Do you look at other people’s photographs and wonder how they shot them (and wish you could get similar results)?

Are you worried that you'll miss those 'one-time' moments; a wedding, a child's first steps, that once in a lifetime vacation?

What difference would it make to you if you could shoot great photographs EVERY TIME?

Well, I have good news for you. There’s no reason why you can’t achieve the results you aspire to; it’s just a matter of education.

An example of using depth of field and bokeh

Let me make an assumption. I’m going to assume that you are relatively new to photography and you're struggling to get out of 'Auto'. You know what you want to shoot, but you don't really understand how your camera works, and there are a LOT of menus!

It is very frustrating when you are putting in a lot of time (and possibly money) and seeing no improvement.

In fact, "You may be in danger of losing your passion for photography altogether!"

Most people think that to improve their results, they simply need to find the right YouTube video. Or invest in new, usually more expensive, camera equipment. Or, if they keep trying the same thing, they’ll get a different result.

The truth is that all this is likely to achieve is to make you more frustrated. If you’re anything like a lot of people I’ve met, you’ve been trying to understand where you’ve been going wrong for some time.

The good news (although it might seem bad) is that how much you spend on your equipment has a much smaller impact on your results than you might expect.

Let use of space tell the story

A Letter From Graham

I clearly remember my first trip to Africa. I'd bought the best gear that I could afford and had been looking forward to my adventure for months...

But when I got home, I was disappointed with a lot of my results. They didn't capture the magic of what I'd just seen.

And I don't want that for you.

So, I invested time learning how to shoot good photographs. Both through education (training as a photojournalist and working with a top portrait and wedding photographer in the UK) and through hours of practice.

My intention with this course is to fast-track you through my mistakes so that your photographs reflect what you saw and felt while you were there.

I got to relive my 'trip of a lifetime' many times and I'm always grateful for the time I put aside to learn from my mistakes.

The cold, hard truth is:

If you continue doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting the same results. In other words, the thinking that got you into this position isn’t the thinking that will get you out of it!

I believe that there are three ways of learning; time with experts, time on your own, and time with peers. This course is designed to cover all three.

When you enrol in Discovering DSLR and Mirrorless Photography, you’ll access simple step-by-step instructions to make sure that you not only understand the theory of how to get great results, but you have guided practice sessions so that you master each step by doing it.

I deconstruct each aspect of photography (including how to use the camera and how to create different results) so that you master each step in turn. That will give you the understanding you need to move on to the next step.

And you’re not alone! You can share your work in our exclusive course community, for feedback, suggestions, or just to share your excitement with your new results.

Usually, the problem is a lack of the right education. And if you’ve felt frustrated or stuck for some time, what you need is a different approach. To go back to basics and start again.

So, forget about having to know and understand all the menus on your digital camera, or being overwhelmed by f-stops and ISO numbers. It’s not as complicated as you might think.

This course shows beginners, enthusiasts and hobbyists how to use DSLR and Mirrorless cameras effectively.

Once you understand the basics, it becomes much easier to navigate the complexities of your camera on the rare occasions you need to. It’s just a case of following step-by-step instructions to give you the techniques that will allow you to access the full creative potential of your camera, and you!

Yes, you could spend a lot of time googling YouTube videos, but you don’t know what you don’t know, and it’s easy to miss something vital and end up even more frustrated than when you started.

OK, SO HOW MUCH IS MY INVESTMENT?

My program is based on my decades of experience, my own investment in courses (including professional portrait photography and photojournalism), supporting professional photographers and coaching others (I have been a mentor for Canon Collective and 'We Are Observers' in Sydney).

I’ve made lots of mistakes myself and have seen the mistakes that other photographers make. I’ve taken the time to put together a course that I wish I’d had access to when I started.

I have constructed the course to get you to see results as quickly as possible. If I were to offer it as a series of workshops, it would cost over $600.00, but you have access for a fraction of that.

I love to see people being successful, and for that reason, I’ve decided to keep the price low. This is a structured course that will take you to where you can take the photographs you’ve always wanted to.

So, you can get started today for three payments of just $109.00 (that’s Australian dollars, or you can pay the equivalent in Euros, UK Pounds or American dollars).

Or, you can choose to make one payment of $297.00 (Australian).

Once your first payment has cleared, you’ll get immediate access. We could be starting our journey together in less than one hour, and it’s up to you how quickly you work through the course.

So you’ll have time to master your photography before that big event. It might be the vacation you’ve promised yourself for years, an important family event, or something that allows you to get more involved in your community.

Or it might be capturing that magical moment that will never come again.

If your photography is what has been holding you back, it’s time to start turning things around!

  • And you get a comprehensive course manual and workbook (Value: $129)

THAT MAKES EVERYTHING YOU GET WORTH OVER $850!

($875 to be exact)

And, as if that wasn’t enough, I’ve included two BONUS online tutorials;

  • Take your photography beyond your camera”: An introduction to post-processing that encourages you to 'begin with the end in mind'! Once you understand what is possible in post, you will understand the importance of certain shooting methods.

  • An introduction to portrait photography”: Natural portraits look exactly that; natural. But shooting them is a whole skill in itself. This bonus module teaches the basics of good portrait photography. The sad fact is that people often leave our lives before we're ready. Having powerful portraits that show something of who they are (or where) goes beyond monetary value.

An additional value of $158.

That takes the total value up to $1,033

So, we've taken a look at the course together, but it's time to get real.

Now it's time for you to make one of two choices.

The first choice is to do nothing. And, as you already know, if you choose nothing… then nothing changes.

BUT, if you already know that you want to transform your photography and start producing the images you’ve always dreamed of, then your choice is obvious: Join us inside "Discovering DSLR and Mirrorless Photography" and start your transformation to becoming the confident and creative photographer you always wanted to be.

You’ll miss out on the chance to transform your photography and possibly your life (who knows where it might take you).

FAQs About Learning Digital Photography

Have a pressing question you need answering before enrolling in one of my courses?

Below is a list of the most common questions that I’ve been asked. If, for some odd reason you don’t see your question, just reach out to our support team, (support@ge.photography) so we can assist you.

Absolutely. In fact, I’d say that it’s an ideal start if you’re just getting into digital photography. My courses are designed to help you to get the basics right first and then build from there.

Quite possibly! BUT, you don’t know what you don’t know. What I’ve found with many people who are self-taught (and I include people who google things on YouTube in that description) is that they often miss something small but vital.

When that happens, you’ll struggle to achieve the results you’re going for, but you won’t know why. I strongly recommend taking at least one course that goes through all of the basics before you jump onto YouTube.

You’ll have immediate access to all of the course material. I’ve done this because different people have different learning styles; some like to start at the beginning and work through, and others like to ‘cherry-pick’ and jump from one subject to another.

The material is delivered through video and all of the key information is included in the course handbook. And you can revisit the material as often as you like. So, you can choose the most suitable method for you.

Yes. This operates on two levels; you can ask questions in the Facebook Group and learn from other people using the course. And, of course, you can contact me directly.

Technology is changing all the time, so there’s a good chance we’ll be using different equipment. The course is aimed at teaching the fundamentals of photography and these are pretty constant. Other aspects of the course (e.g. how auto-focus works) will be less specific, especially as the capabilities on certain cameras (and smartphones) change.

The course will give you the fundamentals and I can guide you on the specifics of your camera if you need help. The aim here is to give you the confidence to explore the full potential of the equipment that you’re using.

That's fine, the videos are typically around 20 minutes long and you can watch them as often as you need to. The key material is also in the course handbook. The course handbook is in 'PDF' format, so you can put it onto a convenient device (a tablet or your phone) and read it whenever it is convenient.

That’s why I offer a full money-back guarantee. You’ve got 30 days, which I feel is more than adequate as most people jump into the course as soon as they have it.

I recognise that my style of teaching isn’t for everyone, so I’ll take the risk that you’re being honest with me when you request a refund. And you’ll have my thanks for giving me a try.

Your 30-day guarantee

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

I want you to feel confident in your purchase. That's why every enrolment is backed by my 30-day money-back guarantee.

If, within the first 30 days, you decide the course isn't the right fit for you, simply contact my support team, and we'll provide a full refund—provided you haven't completed three or more course modules. No complicated process, just fair and straightforward support.

I’m committed to delivering valuable training and want every student to have a positive experience.
